There were questions regarding adjusting participating clubs members’ handicaps. During the meeting with the representatives of the clubs there was an agreement to utilize the Course Handicap Slope Rating equal to 113. The main reason for this adjustment is due to the non-uniform “home” course rating used by most clubs. Since the Slope Index is based on a course rating of 113 the index is rounded to the nearest unit to reflect the player’s handicap. A half a unit is rounded up (e.g. 17.5=18).
